Whiplash

Have you had a whiplash injury, caused by an auto accident, fall, or any other type of injury where your head and neck were affected resulting in pain? If you have, you probably had a whiplash injury. You may have had symptoms such as a painful neck, stiffness, spasms, headaches, pain across the upper back, and shoulders. You may have had symptoms for a few weeks, no pain at all or continued pain. In each of these examples, these people probably had a whiplash injury that can be treated at our Tempe office by Dr. Bruce Lubitz who has over 47years of experience treating victims of Automobile Accidents. Even if the pain is gone or you never had pain you are at risk of developing degenerative changes in your spine in time, another name doctors may say is you have Arthritis. You need to have this checked out by a spinal specialist who is knowledgeable in these types of injuries.

Chiropractic Care for Automobile Accidents

In our Tempe office, we will check many things that may have been injured and that cause you pain. Your Chiropractor will examine the skull for jamming at the sutures of the cranial bones, the TMJ joint (jaw) to see if that has been misaligned, the cervical range of motion to see if you have lost the ability to move your neck in any position, The cervical muscles to check for spasms or restrictions, the occiput ( base of the skull bone) to see if this has gone anterior of lateral ( one of the main causes of headaches). We also check the 7 vertebrae in the neck to see if any of these bones have moved out of place. The Chiropractor’s technical name of this is subluxations (pinched nerves). If your Chiropractor does not check any or all of these things you may be in danger of having a condition which may lead you down the road to pain and degeneration. Don’t let yourself be in this position, come in anytime to our Tempe Chiropractic office to see if you have any of these conditions.
